Wonder Years Inspirational Day Care Centre provides a warm, stimulating and caring environment for children from 2 to 5 years of age.

We are open from 7:00am to 6:00pm, Monday to Friday, 52 weeks per year and offer a variety of sessions to meet the needs of all our families. We offer private and funded sessions for 2, 3 and 4 year old children, including the 15 and 30 hour government funded sessions.

Our nursery team are highly qualified with a wealth of experience within the childcare sector. Our practitioners are all Level 3 qualified in Childcare and have additional training in Safeguarding, First Aid, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene and other childcare related fields. Our team are all DBS checked and receive continuous professional development to ensure that we are providing the highest quality of care. Within our team we have dedicated officers responsible for the Safeguarding of our children and families and also a qualified SENCO officer, responsible for ensuring that we meet the needs of all our children, including children with additional needs.

Our nursery provides a stimulating and open environment, where children are encouraged to explore and develop their imaginations and curiosity, allowing them to progress in all areas of learning. Our staff team work closely with the Early Years Foundation Stage, providing activities and opportunities for children to learn and meet the milestones within their early years journey, before transitioning to full time education.

Each child is designated a Key Person who works closely with the child and their families, building a strong and healthy relationship and providing support and guidance when required, helping the child feel safe and secure in our home from home environment.

We provide a full daily menu that provides a healthy diet for all our children, including fresh fruit and vegetables and water and milk throughout the day. Any dietary requirements can be discussed and we will do all we can to meet any individual needs.

It is important that children receive a vareity of opportunities and we are dedicated to expanding these opportunities by providing extra curricular activities such as sports coaching, wildlife visits and engaging with the local community.
